Holtmann Fahrzeug- und Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Moers on the Lower Rhine, has been developing, designing and producing machines and equipment for the metallurgical and foundry industry for over 50 years. The focus is on the demolition of slag and refractory material from furnaces and metallurgical vessels. The portfolio includes demolition machines (A-series for steel and pig iron, AL-series for aluminium), slag removal machines, gouging machines, ladle milling machines, taphole drilling and setting machines, telescopic excavators, cleaning devices for crucible furnaces as well as demolition machines with a lift arm. The machines are configured according to the modular system principle or manufactured as individual special-purpose machines. In addition, Holtmann offers furnace demolition with experienced operating personnel as well as maintenance service, commissioning and subsequent modifications of plants. Customers include SMS Siemag, ThyssenKrupp Steel, ABP Induction, Siemens VAI and RHI; deliveries are made worldwide.
