About us
Holz & Handwerk GmbH is a carpentry shop founded in 1981, based in Hanover-Bothfeld (Sutelstraße 16). The company manufactures custom furniture, interior fittings, staircases, windows and doors made to measure, and also carries out interior fit-out work such as drywall construction (Rigips), parquet flooring installation and medical practice fit-outs. Traditional and modern materials are processed: wood (including larch and teak), glass (including toughened safety glass), metal, galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminium, plastic and wood-composite materials as well as stone. Production takes place in the company's own carpentry workshop; assembly, maintenance and repair are carried out directly on-site at the customer's premises. As house carpenter, Holz & Handwerk serves numerous large companies in the Hanover region; further customer segments are private customers/residential construction, offices, healthcare practices as well as heritage conservation and renovation. Windows are made in wood, aluminium or plastic, including special shapes, sound-insulation and burglar-resistance windows (RC2) and heritage-protection requirements.
