About Holz Resch
Holz Resch e.K. is a family-run business with 25 employees from Neureichenau in the Bavarian Forest. At the large-timber sawmill, completely rebuilt in 2013, 30,000 fm of regional wood from the region between the tri-border area and the Großer Arber is processed annually into high-quality sawn timber products. As part of refinement, the materials pass through one of the drying chambers, the planing line, or are finger-jointed. A large share of the products goes to the automotive and packaging industries; further customers include the timber trade, the wood industry, and the construction and carpentry trades; individual products are also sold to private customers. Sawmill residue is used materially (paper) and thermally (district heating).
