About Holz Schiller
Holz Schiller GmbH is a family business founded in 1771, now in its eighth generation, headquartered in Regen in the Bavarian Forest. The company produces knot-free laminated timber, in particular multi-layer laminated window scantlings made of spruce, fir, oak, pine, larch and Red Grandis, as well as glulam and post-and-beam laminated timber for the window, door and façade industry. Around 70,000 m³ of laminated products and 50,000 t of heating pellets are produced annually; approximately 65 kilometres of sawn timber are processed daily. In addition, thermally treated timber (ÖKODURA spruce), high-temperature steam-steamed fir (Vita fir), entrance door blanks, panels and a machining and picking service with just-in-time delivery are offered. Around 600 employees at four production sites in two countries supply customers throughout Europe; timber sourcing is PEFC- and FSC-certified. For end consumers, products such as conservatories, balconies, entrance doors, fences, pergolas and sliding systems are offered throughout Bavaria.
