About us
Holzbau-Zimmerei Hilgers GmbH & Co KG is a family-owned company based in Schleiden (Eifel) specializing in individual timber construction and carpentry work. Its range of services includes prefabricated houses in timber-frame construction, Swedish houses, roof trusses of all roof shapes as well as the associated roof covering, renovation of existing buildings, roof extensions, and conversions and additions. Production is carried out in wood and panel materials; the joinery cutting of the structures is done with CNC technology, enabling a high degree of prefabrication in the workshop. The company supports clients from individual planning through structural design to on-site assembly – all from a single source. The team consists of trained skilled personnel in carpentry and roofing trades; the company trains its own apprentices.

- 1992
Foundation of Holzbau-Zimmerei Hilgers by Hans Peter Hilgers after completing master craftsman school, initially in Hellenthal-Blumenthal; focus on roof truss production.
- 1995
First prefabricated house in timber-frame construction; shift of focus towards house construction.
- 1996
Relocation to Schleiden-Herhahn.
- 2003
Reorganization into Holzbau-Zimmerei Hilgers GmbH & Co KG.
- 2004
Purchase of the former site of the prefabricated house company Kewo in Schleiden-Oberhausen; expansion of the range to include roofing work.
