Holzhandel Alwin Höhne GmbH & Co. KG is a timber trading company with a tradition of over 100 years, based in Erfurt until 2016 and since 2016 operating in Nohra (Grammetal) between Erfurt and Weimar in the U.N.O. industrial park. The company runs mail order, retail and wholesale of timber and wood products, including structural timber (KVH), wood-based materials such as OSB 3 and 3-layer softwood panels, profiled timber and solid wood floorboards, as well as fasteners such as angle brackets and HECO screws. For construction products, declarations of performance (DoP) and CE documentation are provided. Since 2011 the company has been certified under FSC and PEFC (Chain of Custody) within the GD-Holz group certification scheme and was among the first 15 companies with a group certificate in the German timber trade. Customers include private customers, commercial and public buyers; goods can be collected from the warehouse in Nohra.
