About us
Holzhandel Glück is a sole proprietorship based in Hadersried near Odelzhausen (Bavaria) that produces everything itself, from log to finished product, in its own sawmill and planing mill. In the in-house band saw sawmill, native hardwood species such as oak, ash, beech, cherry, alder and birch are cut; a specialty is oversized logs with trunk diameters up to 1.10 m. The sawn timber is air-dried at the timber yard for between one and five years and then technically dried in the company's own drying kiln. In the in-house joinery, custom solid wood products are made to order: bespoke floors (planks) made to measure, made-to-measure stairs (straight, winding, stringer-mounted, cantilevered), solid wood furniture, one-of-a-kind saunas, as well as outdoor products such as terraces, balconies, fences and cladding. In addition, sawn timber, hardwood firewood, briquettes and pellets are sold, and consultation, planning, installation incl. subfloor preparation and surface treatment are offered from a single source. The company works with PEFC- and FSC-certified goods and relies on native woods and short transport routes.
