Planning and prefabrication from a single source
Holzhaus Fabrik GmbH in Breisach am Rhein plans and manufactures timber-structure buildings configured individually, with no catalogue solutions. The range of services covers single-family homes, multi-storey residential construction, commercial and special buildings such as schools, kindergartens, sports halls and office buildings, as well as rooftop extensions and annexes to existing buildings. Production is carried out in timber frame and timber panel construction as well as in solid timber construction with cross-laminated timber, glulam and solid structural timber; the timber panel elements are prefabricated closed on both sides in the factory and assembled on site. The processes are fully digitized, down to real-time production data. When selecting materials, the company focuses on regional sourcing and resource conservation; around 265 m³ of timber and 110 m³ of wood fibre insulation were installed for the dm store in Neuried. Planning and turnkey implementation are provided from a single source.
