About Schafler Holzindustrie
Holzindustrie Schafler GmbH & Co KG is a family-owned company founded in 1895, now in its fourth generation, headquartered in Hirnsdorf in Eastern Styria. The company operates its own sawmill in which softwood such as spruce and pine is sawn, thereby securing the supply of sawn timber for its own production as well as for the downstream wood-processing industry (KVH, BSH, BSP, planed timber). The product portfolio includes Euro pallets in various qualities, single- and multi-use pallets, special and heavy-duty pallets, rigid and foldable pallet collars as well as overseas, container and crate packaging. In addition, transport and export packaging to ISPM 15 is carried out directly on-site at the customer's premises, in particular for machinery and plants. Further services include pine dip pressure impregnation (KDI), strength grading of sawn timber according to EN 14081-1, the sale of sawmill by-products such as wood chips, bark and sawdust, as well as forestry consulting. Customers include companies from the pharmaceutical, chemical, automotive, metal, construction and food industries.
