About holzmanier®
holzmanier® is a joinery and frame manufactory in Essen. Under the direction of master carpenter Sabine Schmid, picture frames and one-of-a-kind pieces made of solid wood have been produced for over two decades. All solid wood frames are created in the company's own manufactory, handmade, custom-made and precisely crafted from solid wood. Framing is carried out in museum quality and is individually matched to the respective artwork, according to conservation requirements. In addition to frame production, the service portfolio includes the planning and realization of furniture and projects made of high-quality solid wood as well as the restoration of chairs, including the renewal of rush weave made from hand-woven freshwater rush and cane weave. As a master business in the traditional craft of joinery, holzmanier® also realizes exceptional projects according to individual customer wishes, from the project design and planning phase to production.
