About Holzski

Holzski is a registered trademark of Enskineering GmbH based in Riken, Switzerland, and produces skis and Holzbrätt in pure handcraft using the sandwich principle. Each wooden core is individually and manually adapted to the future rider and built up from individual wood layers that determine the flex and camber/pre-tension of the ski. The layers are glued together; ski edges are embedded between the top sheet and the wooden core, ABS at the tip and tail provides softer shovels, and glass fibres give strength and stiffness. As a finishing touch, a solid wood veneer top layer is applied, which can be designed as a single sheet, mirrored or as a special finish. Customers can take part in the manufacturing process in the workshop and help determine the shape, design and rocker/camber geometry from Full Rocker to Full Camber. Each piece of sports equipment receives a consecutive serial number and is delivered as a one-off with a two-year warranty from handover.
