About Heimberger

Holzverpackungen & Sägewerk Heimberger is a family business founded in 1951 by Wilhelm Heimberger and based in Walldürn in the Odenwald. Since 2003, the focus has been on the manufacture of wooden packaging, special pallets and wooden packaging accessories. The portfolio includes plywood boxes, solid wood boxes, wooden crates, export boxes, overseas and sea freight packaging, heavy-duty and lightweight boxes, air freight boxes, one-way and special pallets, dunnage wood and wooden troughs. Raw timber from local forests as well as plywood and solid wood are processed. The company's own sawmill enables custom cutting even for unusual and oversized packaging requirements and allows a rapid response to customer orders. As a registered treatment facility under the IPPC standard, export wooden packaging is heat-treated in accordance with the applicable regulations; existing boxes and pallets can also be treated. Key customers come from the mechanical engineering industry as well as export via sea freight and air freight.
