About Decker Wood Manufactory
Holzwerk A. Decker GmbH & Co. KG is a family-run wood manufactory in Haimpfarrich near Roth (Bavaria) that has existed since 1952 and is managed by the fourth generation. The company produces exclusive hardwood floors (parquet) as well as high-quality wall and ceiling panelling. The parquet planks consist exclusively of three layers of solid wood, which are cross-laminated with environmentally friendly white PVA adhesives; a hardwood backing layer and a spruce core ensure dimensional stability. Oak, spruce, larch, ash, Canadian maple and American walnut are processed, with textures such as brushed, hand-planed, Loft, Stube, naturally dried and Mill flooring, as well as more than 25 colour options. The planks go through 10 to 14 work steps, and the visual and tactile inspection is carried out by hand. The manufactory supplies construction and renovation projects up to luxury projects such as One Hyde Park (2012) and has been heating sustainably since 2005 with its own wood chip heating system.
