About holzwerk emmental
holzwerk emmental is the brand of Rauch AG, based in Sumiswald in the Emmental region, and manufactures interior fitting products from 100% Swiss wood. The portfolio includes acoustic panels made of Emmental silver fir, spruce and fir with a covering of Swiss sheep's wool or nonwoven fabric in five variants (BASIC grooved, BASIC Wool, BASIC Wool grooved, BASIC Wool micro-perforated, BASIC Wool perforated), the patented Emmental wooden flooring offered since January 2023 with a slotted carrier board and sheep's wool underlay, as well as dimensionally stable 3-layer boards made of Emmental silver fir. All products are made from solid wood and bonded formaldehyde-free with white glue; surface layers can also be executed as veneer in oak, beech or maple. Production takes place on a high-tech machine park with precision and pre-assembly capability, including machine surface sanding, individual perforation, personalization with logo or text, and special fabrication according to customer plans. The products are suitable for public and private buildings such as concert halls, churches, schools, kindergartens, offices and apartments.
