Holzwerk Rau is a medium-sized, traditional family business located in Kleinkellmünz, a district of the municipality of Dettingen an der Iller in Upper Swabia. The sawmill has been in operation for over 100 years and processes regional softwood from local forests, especially spruce. From this, the company produces construction timber for roof structures (beams, laths, planks, square timbers), exterior formwork as well as industrial goods such as special packaging, pallets and packaging wood. In addition to its product range, the sawmill offers contract sawing and contract drying up to a maximum length of 11.50 m; products can be delivered planed or chamfered. Upon request, the company also handles transport planning for its customers. The site can be reached via the A7 from Memmingen in around 15 minutes and from Ulm in around 25 minutes.
