Family-owned company from the Rhön
Holzwerke Michael Menz GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company from the Hessian Rhön with a corporate history spanning more than 90 years. At its Reulbach site, the company produces solid structural timber (KVH®), glulam (BSH), duo and trio beams as well as planed timber from domestic softwoods sourced from sustainably managed forests. The range of services also includes technical timber drying, IPPC treatment, finger jointing and the production of softwood briquettes in 10-kg packs or 500-kg big bags. Manufacturing takes place at the company's own site, from small orders to large-scale contracts; delivery is handled by the company's own truck fleet as well as transport partners. Customers include prefabricated house manufacturers such as the Oikos Group (Bien-Zenker, Living Haus, Hanse Haus), the retail trade (including OBI, Roggemann), roofing wholesalers and GUTMANNHAUS. The company sees itself as a traditional wood processor that combines quality beyond the required standards with personal responsibility and long-term partnerships.
