About Holzwerke Pfarrkirchen

Holzwerke Pfarrkirchen GmbH is a manufacturer specializing in wood further processing, producing solid construction timber (KVH®), surface-laminated products (Duobalken®, Triobalken®, glulam) as well as special products such as scaffold boards, cross-laminated beams, log cabin planks and silo planks. The main material is softwood, mostly spruce; for special applications such as railway sleepers, alternative softwood species are also available. Production comprises technical timber drying in drying kilns, strength grading of solid timber, finger-jointing technology with lengths up to 16 m, and surface laminating of planks and squared timbers; assembly/erection of timber structures is also offered as a special service. With around 110 employees and an annual capacity of 130,000 m³ – corresponding to approximately 1.5 million linear meters of production per month – the company manufactures large standard-dimension orders as well as small batches, special dimensions and list-based orders. Customers include construction and carpentry companies, the timber trade, prefab house specialists, timber engineering, the scaffolding industry and industrial companies with special requirements. Production residues are processed into wood pellets at the site by the company Hot'ts Pellets.
