About Holzwerke Pröbstl

Holzwerke Pröbstl GmbH is a family-run wood processing company founded in 1951, based in Fuchstal-Asch in the Landsberg – Kaufbeuren – Schongau region. The company produces three-layer and five-layer panels (solid wood panels), glulam panels, core layers and finger-jointed construction battens from the wood species spruce, fir and larch. The value chain extends from the sawmill through glulam and panel manufacturing to customer-specific finishing in the service center, including cut-to-size, drilling, chamfering, rebating and groove milling to measure. Technical equipment includes, among other things, an SCM line, the Hundegger SPM2-Speedpanels for panel finishing, Italpres presses, a Steinemann sanding machine and Weinig/Dimter glulam systems. The products serve as construction materials in the structural and interior construction sector as well as in carpentry and building construction, and are supplied with CE marking according to EN 13986 and PEFC certification. Around 100 employees work at the Fuchstal-Asch site.
