About Holzwerke van Roje
Holzwerke van Roje GmbH & Co. KG is a sawmill founded in 1929, now run by the third generation, headquartered in Rhineland-Palatinate with more than 220 employees. The company sources around 450,000 solid cubic metres of roundwood annually from sustainably managed forests in Germany and neighboring EU countries and processes it into sawn timber, planed products, cross-laminated timber (XWORKS BSP) and wood pellets. The value chain includes roundwood purchasing and transport, sawing, technical drying, planing, dip impregnation as well as the manufacture of timber construction elements for building construction and of pellets for commercial and end customers. Via its subsidiary regiopellets, loose pellets are delivered within a radius of 80 km. The modern sawmill continuously invests in production technology and works in a resource-efficient manner with renewable energy while making comprehensive use of the raw material wood.
