About Gehringer
Holzwerkstatt Gehringer GmbH in Klosterlangheim near Lichtenfels (Upper Franconia) produces custom furniture and interior fittings made from solid wood. The product range includes the Stealth design furniture line (tables, beds, sideboards, seating), the Modularis concept for hotels, companies and architecture projects, as well as bespoke one-off pieces made to customer specification. Only fine hardwoods such as American walnut, European oak, bog oak, ziricote, old-growth spruce, curly maple and wenge are processed, sourced via specialized markets and auctions and stocked in the company's own inventory. Production is carried out by hand in the company's own workshop, combined with modern technology; every piece is made as a one-of-a-kind item with individual dimensions and finishes. The family-run company with around 15 employees is led by Johannes and Matthias Gehringer in the twelfth generation and delivers to Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
