About HOMAT
HOMAT is a company of Mathias Hofmann in Kleinheubach that offers consulting and product development all around the material wood. After more than 30 years as an independent entrepreneur in timber construction – among other things as founder and managing director of HESS TIMBER, a provider of financeable, glued timber building systems – Hofmann has been dedicating himself since 2016 to projects in the fields of timber construction, wood processing and the events sector. The foundation is years of experience in the development of timber components and beams (more than five patent applications or processes, including HESS LIMITLESS), the earlier production of laminated wood panels, wooden columns and CNC-machined solid wood furniture parts, as well as project references such as the Kolumba wooden footbridge in Cologne, Louis Vuitton Paris or La Seine Musicale Paris. In addition to consulting and product development, HOMAT operates through its sister company Lechner Wirt GmbH & Co. KG the festival innkeeper business of the Michaelismesse Miltenberg and realizes event equipment such as festival tents.
