About RICHTER Pumpen
RICHTER Pumpen, a product of Homburger GmbH & Co. KG, manufactures linear synchronous diaphragm compressors and vacuum pumps in Markdorf for OEM use in devices and systems. The oil-free and low-maintenance pumps with patented linear drive generate pressures up to 1.4 bar or vacuum down to -800 mbar and are customized to customer requirements via a modular system of materials, connections and performance parameters. Housings are manufactured by die casting; neodymium magnet technology is used in selected models. Fields of application include medical technology, laboratory and analytical technology, electronics and semiconductor technology, manufacturing and production, cleaning and disinfection as well as the chemical industry. Production and assembly take place at the Markdorf site on Lake Constance, and sales are oriented worldwide. In 2025, the company celebrated 50 years of pump production; since the transition to Homburger in 2023, more than 4,500 pumps have been produced under license.
