HOMOTH Medizinelektronik is a medical technology manufacturer based in Kaltenkirchen (Schleswig-Holstein) that has been developing and producing diagnostic systems for the ENT field for around 40 years. The product range includes pure-tone and speech audiometers, PC modules for measuring otoacoustic emissions, tympanometers for impedance and reflex measurement, rhinomanometers for nasal breathing diagnostics, ultrasound devices for paranasal sinus diagnostics, as well as systems for vestibular diagnostics (VNG, head impulse test, air caloric irrigator) and endoscopy with rigid and flexible endoscopes plus USB cameras. The devices are complemented by accessories and consumables distributed through the company's own online shop. According to the company's own statements, the entire development and manufacturing of the products takes place exclusively in Germany. In the early 1990s, the "ENT Diagnostics Center" system was introduced as a world first; well over 8,000 sold modules and 4,000 individual devices document its dissemination in ENT clinics and practices. Development is carried out in cooperation with technical universities and professors; sales are conducted worldwide through authorized dealers of the Blueline.
