Hoogland Spine Products GmbH (brand MaxMoreSpine) was founded in Munich in 2006 by orthopedic surgeon and inventor Dr. Thomas Hoogland and develops, manufactures and distributes endoscopic instruments and systems for minimally invasive spine surgery. The portfolio includes systems for transforaminal endoscopic procedures (PTED), interlaminar decompression (PSLD), biportal endoscopy, endoscopic fusion (MaxFusion), facet joint treatment (J@blation) and cervical procedures (Mini System). The company is built on more than 35 years of experience in arthroscopy, endoscopy, spine surgery and instrument development; Dr. Hoogland performed over 15,000 minimally invasive spine procedures and transferred this expertise into product development. With worldwide regulatory registrations and more than 50 distribution partners, the maxmorespine® system is in use internationally; according to the company, more than 300,000 endoscopic spine procedures have been performed. In addition to product distribution, the company offers instrument service and repair as well as training and workshops for surgeons at specialized training centers. Headquarters are located in Unterföhring near Munich, with a logistics/repair site in Frankfurt am Main and a US branch in San Diego.
