Research and Precision Based on Tradition
HORICO is the brand of Hopf, Ringleb & Co. GmbH & Cie, a Berlin family business in its fourth generation with over 100 years of experience in dental technology. The company manufactures dental instruments such as diamond grinders, carbide burs, carbide crown cutters, CAD/CAM burs, flexible diamond separating discs (Diaflex®, Superdiaflex®, Superapid®), separating strips and polishers. The level of in-house production is high: from raw material to finished product, almost all production steps are carried out in-house in Germany. Materials processed include diamond (sintered diamond), carbide (tungsten carbide and fine-grain carbide), steel, non-rusting stainless steel, and plastics for polishers. The company also offers surface treatments such as black bur coating and gilding of diamond burs. Products are delivered to over 90 countries; every item undergoes a microscopic visual inspection before delivery. In addition to the standard program, HORICO develops custom solutions (OEM) and instrument sets for specific applications such as veneer preparation, IPR and the processing of zirconia and glass ceramics.
