About us

The Horst Kumbruch GmbH was founded in 1962 in Hagen, Westphalia and is a specialist factory for lifting technology for heavy loads. The product range includes mobile lifting jacks (KO III lifting jack, Consol lifting jack), rotating lifting systems and underfloor lifting systems such as longitudinal beam lifting stands and lifting platform hoist systems. Individual lifting jacks lift loads of up to 40 tonnes; underfloor systems achieve load capacities of 45 to 60 tonnes. In addition to series production, the company has specialised in the development of demanding special designs tailored to individual customer requirements. The lifting jacks are protected against water jets and can be used mobile, so buses, trucks, rail vehicles and containers can be lifted with a single system. The range also includes assembly and maintenance service with specially equipped service vehicles as well as individual consulting. Customers come from rail technology, workshops, welding operations and the container handling industry; systems are in use worldwide.

Quality and Safety

The products are protected against water jets (IP 55) and feature fully automatic phase and cable break monitoring as well as synchronous movement monitoring. An anti-roll system and three-point support ensure stability during the lifting process.
