About Rottler Maschinenbau

Since 1970, Horst Rottler Maschinenbau GmbH has developed and manufactured customer-oriented, workpiece-specific machine tools. The portfolio comprises gantry milling machines in gantry and table designs, milling and boring machines, deep-hole drilling machines, round bar and vertical lathes, multi-spindle drilling and milling machines, centering and angle drilling machines, as well as gantry grinding machines. Each machine is designed in close cooperation with the customer for its machining task, production conditions and process requirements, drawing on proven components from machines in successful operation worldwide. In addition to new machine building, the company offers retrofit, overhaul and modernization of all makes, control system construction (CNC/PLC), maintenance, repair, spare parts supply, machine geometry measurement according to VDI/DGQ 3441, machine relocation, and transportable machining on construction and assembly sites. The machines are used, among other applications, in aerospace, shipbuilding, the automotive industry, power plant and paper machinery manufacturing, roll manufacturing, rail and forging machining, as well as tool and die making. Locations are Mudersbach (headquarters) plus a branch in Saxony.

Quality & Testing

Machine geometry is measured according to VDI/DGQ 3441 using a laser interferometer or classical methods; kinematic and dynamic behavior is determined by means of a circular form test. New machines and retrofits receive a comprehensive safety concept including CE marking in accordance with the current European directives.
