About Weich GmbH
Horst Weich Werkzeug- und Kunststofftechnik GmbH was founded in 1989 as a tool and mould making company, initially manufacturing tools and jigs predominantly for the plastics processing industry. In 1992, the first injection moulding machine was acquired for sampling and pre-series production. Today, the company develops and designs moulded parts and injection moulding tools using the Solid Works CAD/CAM system and manufactures the tools in its own in-house tool shop. On various injection moulding machines with clamping forces of up to 200 t and a maximum shot weight of 600 g, the company produces moulded parts from a wide variety of materials, including housings, encapsulation housings and components. The service portfolio additionally includes 3D printing, rapid prototyping, single-part and series machining of plastic and metal parts, screen printing, pad printing, hot embossing as well as the assembly of assemblies. Production is carried out for the electronics and computer industry, consumer sectors, the security industry, science and research, as well as automotive. The company operates internationally and offers a complete one-stop service from the initial idea to the finished product.
