About us
HOS Kunststofftechnik GmbH manufactures technical engineering components from thermoplastic, fiber-reinforced and thermoset plastics. Production includes CNC milling, CNC turning, sawing, grinding as well as completion into finished components. In addition, plastic semi-finished products in the form of sheets, panels, solid rods, hollow rods and tubes are traded; the company's own plastic joinery shop produces cut-to-size parts as required, so customers do not need to purchase entire panels or rods. The material portfolio ranges from HGW cotton and glass fiber laminated hard fabrics and HP hard paper to DIN 7735, through high-performance thermoplastics such as PEEK, PTFE, PVDF and PPS, to engineering plastics such as PA, POM, PVC, PE, PP and PET as well as special plastics; aluminum and non-ferrous metals are also machined. Customers come from electrical engineering, electroplating and mechanical engineering. The company also offers storage of raw material – including customer-supplied material – with call-off production. The company is headquartered in Gehrden near Hanover.

History

Foundation of HOS Kunststofftechnik GmbH by Egbert Schoenfeld on the basis of insolvency assets; previously Schoenfeld had been a sales representative for the plastics manufacturer Ferrozell for northern Germany (H = Hausschild, O = Omniziener, S = Schoenfeld).
