About Hotwork International

Hotwork International AG is an internationally active corporate group headquartered in Egnach, Switzerland, specializing in burner and combustion technology as well as thermal services for industrial furnaces. Founded in 1962 as Hotwork Ltd. in England, the company developed high-velocity burner technology for heating up and drying refractory linings and is considered a pioneer of this technique. The service portfolio includes Furnace Heat Up, Refractory Dry-Out, furnace draining, thermal regenerator cleaning, Hot Repairs, Post Weld Heat Treatment, Steamblow, chemical cleaning and temporary process heat. In addition, there are proprietary product lines such as the HV-1500, HV-3000 and HVO-3600 high-velocity burners, the OPTIflame melting technology (10 kW to 20 MW), Permanent Drain systems for specialty glass and hydrogen-capable burners. The group employs more than 600 technicians and engineers, operates its own hub warehouses in Switzerland, India, China, the Philippines and Mexico with over 250 burner sets, and maintains subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia. Customers come from the glass, aluminum, copper, steel, chemical, boiler/power plant, cement and other industries.
