About House of Gems

House of Gems was founded in 1986 by Rajesh Sheth and specializes in the sourcing and processing of rough and polished diamonds, in particular investment-grade fancy-color diamonds from Fancy Yellow to Fancy Vivid Yellow. The company sources rough diamonds through auctions and in cooperation with mining companies, and operates its own cutting and polishing capacity; in 1995 House of Gems acquired a polishing factory. Manufacturing uses inclusion-mapping systems, colorimeters and proprietary AI software. Its customers are primarily renowned fine jewelry houses; several of the company's diamonds (including The Amaranthine, The Celeste, The Green Lily) have been honored with a GIA Monograph. The company is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council and Kimberley Process compliant, and maintains offices in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Ramat Gan (Israel), Singapore and New York.
