House of Imports GmbH is a service company founded in 2020 in Bilten in the canton of Glarus for the import of vehicles from the USA, the EU and other countries into Switzerland. It handles the complete registration process from A to Z: vehicle modification and adjustments in accordance with Swiss regulations, provision of the required evidence on exhaust emissions and noise as well as pedestrian and occupant protection, self-inspection by means of parallel type approval as a company authorised to carry out inspections, and presentation for the motor vehicle inspection at the cantonal road traffic offices. In addition, as a large-scale importer the company offers a reduced CO2 levy within its own fleet (up to 50% discount for new vehicles under 6 months), coordination of homologation, registration and vehicle redemption, as well as insured transport to and within Switzerland including storage, collection and delivery.
