Houtzagerij Daemen NV is a sawmill and timber trading company founded in 1924 in Bocholt (Belgium), today run by Erik Daemen in the third generation. The company supplies sawn timber such as Scandinavian construction timber, roof construction timber, oak beams and tropical hardwood, as well as sheet materials (OSB, multiplex, triplex, concrete formwork ply), insulation materials, parquet, impregnated garden timber and firewood to businesses and private customers. In-house manufacturing services include contract sawing (cutting to size) and planing of timber to customer specifications. In addition, pallets and packaging timber are manufactured to measure in small and large quantities. The products mainly serve customers as a base material for the manufacture of stairs, doors, windows, furniture, kitchens and garden structures in the timber, furniture, parquet and joinery trades as well as in horticulture.
