About hpg Plastics
hpg Plastics is a company specializing in PE-RT pipes, based in Ratingen near Düsseldorf, and is regarded as the inventor of the PE-RT pipe. Since 1984, the company has developed and produced PE-RT pipes and hoses for underfloor and surface heating, drinking water and sanitary installation, as well as for industrial applications such as cooling and heating circuits and medium lines. Production is carried out by extrusion on a total area of 22,000 m² at the plant near Düsseldorf International Airport; pipe diameters from 8 to 32 mm are offered. In addition to single-layer pipes of the types PE-RT Type 0, Type I and Type II, the company manufactures multilayer composite pipes such as the 5-layer composite pipe hpg MIDI inverse® with a permanent oxygen diffusion barrier. Custom production can be individualized in terms of color, print, dimension, coil size and packaging. As a subsidiary of the internationally active Huliot Group, hpg Plastics benefits from its process know-how. Quality is ensured by in-house laboratory tests as well as certifications such as SKZ, KIWA KOMO, CE and DIN CERTCO, and since 2026 the heating pipes have been labeled with the EPD environmental declaration.
