About HPW

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Buchs (Switzerland), HPW AG develops, produces and distributes dried fruits and fruit snacks made from tropical fruits. Mango, pineapple, coconut, banana and papaya are processed into dried fruit pieces, fruit bars, fruit balls, fruit rolls, fruit cubes, coconut oil and pineapple powder. Processing takes place in the company's own IFS- and BRCGS-certified factories in Adeiso (Ghana) and Assé/Bonoua (Ivory Coast) as well as in partnership with Vert Ltd in Machakos (Kenia); the process spectrum includes washing, sorting, ripening, peeling, cutting, puréeing, extrusion, drying, pasteurization and packaging. The fruits come predominantly from smallholder farms within a sourcing radius of over 1'500 km. Customers include food retailers, supermarket chains and the snack industry worldwide, supplied in bulk packaging and consumer units. In Switzerland, HPW AG employs 20 staff in administration, sales and key account management.
