Hrastnik Maschinenbau GmbH was founded in 1972 in a former filling station and is today run as a family business in its third generation, headquartered in Erkelenz. As a machining company, it manufactures parts and components for mechanical engineering, serving a loyal customer base of die casting foundries, toolmakers and die casting machine manufacturers worldwide. Production takes place in its own modern plant in Erkelenz, which is also used to train machining specialists.
