About Schuster Holz
HS Holzexport Schuster is a timber trading and export company founded in 1933 in Innsbruck that supplies wood products made from softwood across Europe. The portfolio includes the pellet brands SCHUSTER, COMBUSTICK, WOODY and FLAMME PLUS, wood briquettes made from untreated wood residues, virtually dust-free horse and animal bedding as well as packaging sawn timber (boards and squared timber, fresh or technically dried and ISPM15-certified) for pallet and crate production. Pellets are made from sawdust by pressing at high temperature; goods are delivered in bags, big bags or loose by truck and sea freight container up to the customer's warehouse. Pellets are supplied from EU production plants, with quality backed by DIN PLUS and ENplus A1 certificates and origin secured by FSC and PEFC Chain-of-Custody certifications. In addition to its headquarters in Innsbruck, since 2023 the company has maintained an office and warehouse location in Segrate (Italy) through HS Holzexport Schuster Italia srl. Customers come from industry, trade, fuel retailing and the pallet and packaging industry.
