About HSB Automation
HSB Automation GmbH is a mid-sized family business founded in 1993 in Reutlingen, specializing in mechanical linear technology. The portfolio comprises mechanical linear units (HSB-beta®), compact linear units (HSB-delta®), linear tables (HSB-alpha®), gantry linear units (HSB-gamma® and HSB-sigma®) and ball screws (HSB-kgt®) in nominal diameters KGT 12 to 32 with in-house nut production. The units are based on specially developed aluminium profiles whose interface surfaces are precisely mechanically machined; drive variants include toothed belts, lead screw and rack-and-pinion drives with induction-hardened racks and case-hardened, ground drive pinions. Development, design, manufacturing and assembly are all under one roof, enabling a high depth of production and custom designs down to a lot size of 1. The solutions are used, among other things, in energy and medical technology, the food industry, machinery and plant engineering, and the automotive industry. With around 80 employees, the company is based at the In Laisen site in Reutlingen and distributes its products via sales partners in Europe as well as, together with SCHUNK GmbH & Co. KG, in more than 50 countries worldwide.

HSB Automation GmbH is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018 (each by DEKRA); cleanroom certificates are available for selected HSB-beta® and HSB-delta® units, supplemented by ATEX declarations of conformity for Zones 1/21 and 2/22. The accuracy classes of the ball screws range from T7 (52 µm/300 mm) to T3 (12 µm/300 mm) per DIN 69051; repeatability is ± 0.1 mm for trapezoidal screw units and ± 0.08 mm for toothed belt units.
