About HSK
HSK Maschinenfabrik is a fifth-generation family company based in Kirchheim unter Teck at the foot of the Swabian Alb. The company develops, designs and manufactures custom plant shears for automated production lines as well as motor-driven plate shears (guillotine shears) for standalone use. It cuts sheet and strip in steel, aluminium and copper; in addition, the shears also cut plastics, CFRP/GFRP, nonwovens, foams, rubber up to 50 mm thickness, precious metals, circuit boards and corrugated cardboard. Depending on the task, the drives are designed as AC gear brake motors, servo gear motors or flywheel drives with pneumatically or hydraulically actuated clutch-brake combinations, and are characterized by high energy efficiency. Customers come from the automotive, rail transport, aerospace, mechanical and plant engineering, renewable energy, medical technology, construction, steel and transformer industries. In addition, HSK offers on-site service, general overhauls, blade service and contract manufacturing of small-batch components.
