HSS Hydraulik und Antriebstechnik GmbH is a technical wholesaler and system service provider for hydraulics, drive technology, steam engineering and pneumatics, headquartered in Tuningen (Schwarzwald-Baar district). In the company's own service workshop, hydraulic hose and pipe systems are assembled to measure – as single or series production, on request with a pressure test report and certificate. Hydraulic hoses of pressure classes 1TE-6SP, hydraulic pipes to EN 10305-4 (DIN 2391 ST 37.4) phosphated, galvanized or in stainless steel, as well as thermoplastic pipes and hoses, are processed. A dedicated test bench enables pressure, pressure impulse and burst tests up to 4,000 bar (58,000 psi) on lines, valves, pipes and fittings. The central warehouse stocks more than 30,000 individual parts and components from renowned manufacturers (over 700 pallet spaces). Customers come from mechanical engineering, industry/maintenance, plant construction, steam and process engineering, and drive technology. Further services include on-site service with hose crimping machines in service vehicles, steam trap testing with GESTRA TRAPtest VKP, assembly of valve manifolds and hydraulic systems, and warehouse and logistics concepts including KANBAN and a scan app.
