About HTR GmbH
HTR GmbH is a heat treatment specialist with more than 25 years of experience in industrial heat treatment and is part of the RICO Group. The company offers hardening processes such as vacuum hardening, protective-gas hardening and induction hardening as well as nitriding processes in the form of gas, plasma and salt-bath nitriding, complemented by deep-freezing, soft annealing and stress-relief annealing. It does not manufacture in the classical sense but treats: steel and other metals are heat treated to achieve dimensional stability, wear resistance and reproducibility – from single pieces to series production, using state-of-the-art systems and precise process control for high distortion reliability. Customers come from the automotive industry, aerospace, medical technology, and the tool and mechanical engineering sectors. A 48-hour service, its own pickup and delivery service covering around one million vehicle kilometres per year in the Upper Austrian central region, and customer-specific seminars round out the range of services.

Steel is heat treated using hardening, nitriding and annealing processes to achieve dimensionally stable and wear-resistant component properties.
Metals
In addition to steel, other metals are also processed for industrial heat treatment.
Vacuum hardening

Protective-gas hardening
