HUBER BAND – Quality for over 160 years

Huber & Co. AG Bandfabrik in Oberkulm has been developing, producing and distributing technical narrow fabrics since 1864. The product range includes blind tapes for exterior shading (TEXBAND®, Hagofix®, Hagoloop®, Hagotex®), seamless tubular woven fabrics produced with shuttle technology for filtration applications in industry, medicine and environmental protection, as well as custom precision bands in widths from 2 to 350 mm made from all weavable materials, woven by shuttle or needle loom. The company is regarded as the inventor of the blind tape and manufactures in its fourth generation at the historic site in Oberkulm in the canton of Aargau. Production takes place on modernized looms with continuously renewed infrastructure; a photovoltaic system with 2'000 m² of panels covers around 50 percent of electricity demand, and the use of reusable spools has saved more than 140'000 kg of plastic waste. The quality management systems are certified to ISO 9001. Through its subsidiary Brandenburg Textile Komponenten GmbH in Grevenbroich (Germany), the company serves an international customer base.
