About Huber Solarfix
Huber Solarfix GmbH, based in Untergriesbach, develops and manufactures the HSF Ballast-Tank, a substructure for the professional and secure installation of photovoltaic systems on flat roofs. Ballasting is achieved by filling the tank with water, so the roof membrane is not penetrated and ballast stones as well as mechanical fastening can be dispensed with. The manufacturing material is UV-stabilised, frost- and weather-resistant plastic (HDPE); the PV modules are fastened via stainless steel claws. Areas of application include flat roofs with bitumen, plastic sheeting, green roofing or gravel surfaces, balcony power stations as well as garden and open-space installations. The offering includes service packages, referral to cooperation partners for installation, and a calculation programme for determining the ballasting (structural/ballast planning), which is based on a wind expert report and the system structural analysis of a state-approved chartered structural engineer. Manufacturing complies with ISO 9001:2015, and all components are 100% recyclable.
