Hubert GmbH Metallbearbeitung is a machining service provider based in Schonungen near Schweinfurt. The family-owned company, founded in 1945, produces rotationally symmetric turned parts in turning diameters from 10 to 250 mm, linear guide elements made of cast iron and steel, as well as drilled and thread-machined fastening elements on high-performance drilling centers. In addition, the service portfolio includes hard machining of turned parts, 5-axis milling for small series, motorsport components and sample parts, vibratory finishing as well as glass bead and sand blasting. Heat and surface treatment is carried out in cooperation with partners; material procurement, assembly, packaging and storage complete the value chain. Lot sizes range from 500 to 100,000 pieces. Customers come from the automotive industry, linear technology, general mechanical engineering, the plastics processing industry and motorsport, including Fichtel & Sachs, SKF and Deutsche Star. In addition to its headquarters in Schonungen, the company has operated a second plant in Schwebheim since 2019 with around 60 employees.
