About HUBTEX
HUBTEX Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Fulda, was founded in 1981 and manufactures custom-built industrial trucks, multidirectional sideloaders and special-purpose equipment for long, heavy and bulky goods. HUBTEX begins where the manufacturers of standard equipment stop: the vehicles are tailored to the specific conditions of each plant or warehouse and produced in Fulda-West. The portfolio includes electric multidirectional sideloaders with lifting capacities of up to 35 t, multidirectional counterbalance forklifts, heavy-duty compact forklifts, GTR and GTT transport vehicles for precast concrete parts, platform and rail-mounted transporters for loads over 20 t, glass transport systems, tool changers, and combined intralogistics and assembly systems for aircraft manufacturing. The vehicles are available with diesel, gas, electric and hybrid drives, with HUBTEX relying on electric drives for almost 40 years. Key customer industries include steel and metal service centers, automotive, aerospace, building materials, glass, plastics, paper, foundries, and wind and solar energy. With around 450 employees at the Fulda site and subsidiaries in North America, Australia, the United Kingdom, France, BeLux, Austria and the Czech Republic, the company serves customers in over 35 countries. The HUBTEX Group also includes Genkinger (Münsingen), stabau (Meschede) and DIMOS (Petersberg).

Materials and Drive Technologies
Steel
Main material for vehicle frames and central components, almost fully recyclable
Lithium-ion batteries
Battery technology for applications with higher operating hours, avoiding heavy metals such as cobalt wherever possible
Lead batteries
To date the most commonly used battery technology, almost fully recyclable
Polyurethane
Material for wheels and tires of industrial trucks
Electric drive
Preferred drive for almost 40 years, protects personnel from emissions and saves up to 25% energy with energy-efficient controllers and the HX steering system
Hybrid drive (electric/diesel)
Introduced in 2013, combines electric and diesel drives for demand-based energy use
Diesel with oxidation catalyst and particulate filter
Current DQ-X generation with three drive modes (Eco, Sensitive, Speed) to reduce emissions and consumption
