Automation NEXT is a German-language trade magazine and online portal for automation technology, created in 2024 through the merger of the magazines ke NEXT and IEE. It is published by Hüthig Medien GmbH, headquartered in Heidelberg, in cooperation with mi connect; Ultima Media Germany GmbH from Munich also appears as publisher. The magazine appears eight times a year in print and as an e-paper with an IVW-audited circulation of around 30,000 copies. In addition, the editorial team offers an online portal, a newsletter with 8,600 subscribers, a podcast, social media channels and the Automation NEXT Conference. The editorial focus covers sensor technology, control and drive technology, cloud and edge computing, collaborative robotics and IT networking.
