About Hüttenes-Albertus
Hüttenes-Albertus (HA) is an internationally active manufacturer of chemical products for the foundry industry, headquartered in Düsseldorf. The company develops and produces binder systems and auxiliary materials for mold and core making, including Cold-Box, inorganic, No-Bake, furan resin, water glass and Hot-Box/Warm-Box processes, as well as resin-coated sands, specialty sands, coatings, feeders and additives for the 3D printing of molds and cores. In addition, metallurgical consulting, casting defect analysis, core shooting and casting simulation, prototyping and training are offered. The product range is aimed at foundries and their industries such as automotive, mechanical engineering, wind power, shipbuilding and construction machinery; reference customers include Brembo, KPSNC and Mercedes-Benz Cars. In Germany, there are locations in Düsseldorf (headquarters), Hannover (production and R&D laboratory), Baddeckenstedt (HA Center of Competence with 3D sand printer ExOne S-Max Plus, spectrometer and thermal analysis), Braunschweig (mineral mixtures, coated sands) as well as the subsidiary Chemex Foundry Solutions GmbH in Delligsen (foundry molds and cores). The group employs around 1,800 people in over 30 countries.
