About us
Hugo Etter AG has been active in mechanical manufacturing for over 50 years, producing demanding parts for the machine industry. On a 3'600 m² production floor, a versatile machine park with 22 machines is available, ranging from CNC turning and CNC milling to high-precision measuring processes. In turning, chuck machining is performed with turning diameters up to 700 mm, workpiece lengths up to 3250 mm and swing diameters up to 1140 mm; with the Doosan Puma 700LY, large parts and shaft parts up to 8900 kg can be machined. The Index G250 Ratioline enables 5-axis simultaneous machining, and in milling a horizontal machining centre with a travel range of up to 1400 x 950 x 1200 mm as well as a Fastems palletising system with up to 24 machine pallets are available. Production is carried out according to customer requirements in prototypes, small and large series; quality is assured by CMM and multisensor measuring machines with laser.
