About Huisman GmbH
Huisman GmbH is a medium-sized company based in Apen in the Ammerland region. Founded in 1978 by Johann Huisman as a sole proprietorship, the business initially focused on general metalworking and structural steelwork. In 2005 the company was renamed to the present-day Huisman GmbH; since then the product range has covered the manufacture of wear parts for scarifying and aerating machines, custom-made digging tools for trenchers, and the production of golf course products and lawn rakes in various sizes. In addition, since 2001 the company has been the exclusive distributor of trenchers from AFT Trenchers Ltd. in England as well as trenchers, earth augers and auger conveyors from the Australian manufacturer DIGGA. The products for golf course, sports field and turf care are used by customers all over the world. Managing partner since 2024 is Christoph Beelmann.
