HumanOptics is a German manufacturer of premium ophthalmic surgical implants based in Erlangen. The product range includes intraocular lenses (IOLs) in monofocal, toric, trifocal and trifocal-toric designs – some with and some without a blue-light filter – on the Aspira, Torica and Triva IOL platforms, including XL optics and extended diopter ranges. A special product is the foldable Artificial Iris CustomFlex, which has been offered for over 20 years and is a globally unique treatment option for patients with complete or partial aniridia: it is handcrafted in Germany and individually matched to the patient's natural iris color based on a photo of the intact iris. The portfolio is complemented by the Artificial Iris Select in nine predefined color combinations as well as accessories for ophthalmological procedures such as surgical single-use blades, injectors, surgical kits, viscoelastics, trephines, forceps and capsule tension rings. With personal partner support, the company assists ophthalmic surgeons in their daily surgical practice.
